5th Graders' Plan for Chicago

Loyola University Museum of Art

The 5th graders from 76 Big Shoulders Fund schools have completed a plan depicting their vision for Chicago, and it is now on display at LUMA. The kids spent a year learning about, and planning for, a neighborhood other than their own. [MORE]

Make Big Plans: Daniel Burnham’s Vision of an American Metropolis

The Make Big Plans exhibit is now on display at more than 60 libraries throughout Chicagoland, Midway and O’Hare airports. A complementary public program series is being offered at the Arlington Heights, Wheaton, Orland Park and Chesterton libraries. It is available on line and as a slide show. [MORE]
